How to take screenshots on Google Pixel and Pixel XL

  1. Open the app or screen you want to capture in your Pixel or Pixel XL.
  2. Hold down the Power and Volume Down buttons at the same time for a few seconds.
  3. You will see the animated screenshot appear and fade quickly.

When you’ve taken a screenshot, you can directly access to your latest screenshots directly by lowering the notification panel to see screenshots taken. Additionally you will receive a notification that lets you Share, Delete or open the photo. In the Google Photos app, you’ll find all the screenshots in the Devices folder. In addition, you can also automatically back up your screenshot to Google Photos, let the app do it.
